Past Intern Spotlight!
During my time at Mercury, I was part of the Engineering - Growth team, which was responsible for overseeing projects that aimed to see an increase in the number of customers that we had. My favorite project that I worked on during my time here was a feature that helped simplify the experience of depositing money for first time users. This was my favorite project because despite it being a small change, it had a huge impact on the number of new customers that deposited money.
I loved my time at Mercury as an intern because all the people I’ve met were so amazing and helpful towards my development in my career goals. For example, the Haskell curriculum in place for newcomers to the language ensured that the interns were able to follow and contribute to the projects that their team was working on. Everyone was also very friendly and created a sense of community through our team trips together and working through crosswords together during our break times! Lastly, the entire culture of Mercury is very lovely, whether it be the callsigns that the universe decides for us or the extensive lore that creates fun little stories for everyone to enjoy, there is never a dull moment when it comes to being at Mercury.
